Once in a while, you walk along the pavement on a dreary day and, all of a sudden, spot something shiny that makes you feel like yelling out loud. You look around shiftily to see if anybody else is looking at you. You pick it up. You sneak a quick look at it, ram it into your pocket and run home to rinse the mud off it and admire it. It isn’t worth jack shit but it’s just awesome.
This video, this song, this band – El Columpio Asesino (translates as The Killer Swings)- are the worthless shiny thing that made Trevor feel like that today. He doesn’t care if you don’t speak Spanish, just watch the video.

These guys are too cool for school, even for old school. Incidentally, they are on the same record label as Andy’s favourites Delorean, Mushroom Pillow. Their new album is called Diamantes.
